The basic Aphor list and a sublist Aphor Charles Scamahorn

1. Every time we retell our life stories, we improve our remembered selves in competence, which empowers us to be that good in our future lives.

2. The infinite is always here in our present radiating outward, as other infinities’ realities impinge on our current reality from distant places.

3. The world of our imagination comes from our mind and its genetic histories, observed internal and external things, and mistakes.

4. The mind is capable of vast unknown things, but to bring these to consciousness requires exposure and meditation on their interactions.

5. A mind in its imagining can go many places, but when it flies into an infinity of insubstantial weirdness, it appears insane.

6. To function well in a future situation, imagine being there and grasping for the tools you need to perform the tasks well and practice using them.

7. Ordinary people suffer more from their lack of imagination than from the lack of physical abilities to perform tasks.

8. Imagination, facts, and skill are needed to get things done; truths are required to understand, skill to accomplish, and imagination to create the goals.

9. Your imagination controls your mind, and your environment contains your body, but it is the goals created that provide the motive for action.

10. A journey of imagination on Google Earth is nearly as informative as physical travel but much less destructive of the world’s resources.

11. Imagination always directs our actions, but until facts convince it of real-world necessities, past remembrance controls the imagination.
