Am I seeing future results reality or present greedy fantasy?

I will be the first to admit that I have been gloomy some of the time lately. But, when I’m at a party like I was an hour ago, people are laughing a lot at what I say. Perhaps it’s a result of watching Steven Colbert a lot, and his buddies too, and a frequent soirée into South Park sets my tone also. And last night watching Portlandia, the scene where all the actors were eating their meals over kitchen sinks was all too real for some of my questionable behavior. My biggest problem is with my new rhubarb chutney with an underlay of my special butter. The offending butter is made of 45% butter, 45% sunflower butter, and 10% olive oil, roughly stirred together so it leaves small yellow lumps. It tastes fantastic, but on hot toast it melts easily and so I’ve got to eat it over a kitchen sink to catch the spontaneous runoff.

I’ve become addicted to this butter combined with the rhubarb chutney Debbie and I  first made out of the rhubarb growing in front of our house. We are on our the fourth batch of two quarts of this fantastic food. Mostly healthy stuff. It starts with about eight stalks of full-grown rhubarb, sugar, golden raisins, strawberries, cranberries, ginger, cayenne, onion, a bit of salt, all brought to a boil and then a slow popping simmer in apple cider vinegar for an hour.

This stuff is incredibly tasty for me because as I chew each of the individual fruit chunks they burst forth with unique flavors previously unknown to my sense organs. I took a half pint of this delicacy to a party earlier this evening and everyone agreed it was an ecstatic food experience.

I am concerned that my wonderful world of rhubarb chutney will not persist much longer before the Manbearpig’s five-year contract for a beautiful world runs out and things are a thousand times worse. It is because of human shortsighted greed. See Wikipedia, “Al Gore and ManBearPig return in the sixth and seventh episode in the 22nd season of South Park, “Time to Get Cereal” and “Nobody Got Cereal?“, which first aired on Comedy Central in the United States on November 7 and 14, 2018.”
