Condensed thoughts May 2014

I am now going to go back over my past 2400+ posts and do a condensed thoughts list for each month. In the future I will do a condensed thoughts on the last day of the month, but for these past posts it seems reasonable to create a list, one a day, and then post them currently and retro-post them to the last day of the month from which they were found originally. Some days there may not be any bon mots, and others there will be collections of them. It will inevitably get a bit messy, but from the collection there should emerge some memorable ideas which I have forgotten. So much more memorable ideas. I have observed that a really good unique idea is almost impossible to remember, and I know I have forgotten many good ones, because they are unique and there isn’t an idea for my memory to link them to. I have learned to carry a 3×5″ note pad, and take ideas down instantly, and also carry a camera and take lots of record shots. Sometimes an idea can be remembered later if I can remember the scene and situation.
