If the Delta variant of Covid hadn’t come into being, we might be seeing the end of the pandemic. But there were not enough vaccines to go to everyone globally, so more variants came into being. It’s a simple living process: where there is an opportunity for a life form to arise and prosper, it will emerge and thrive. When people are not so close together during the summer months, natural social distancing created a natural immunity. But soon, the weather will be cooler, and at the temperature of 43℉, there is a maximum transmission through the air. That is the temperature at which droplets of sneezes and percussive spoken words persist longest and transmit viruses most easily. So, with the cooler months, people living indoors create more transmission, and being outdoors has more transmission so that the disease will spread more easily.
