These last few Probaway posts have been exploring different ways of using the potentially infinite list of easily indexed and collided Aphors to generate new ideas. Yesterday’s test was DOUBT versus HOPE and it generated the Aphor 2021/06/19 – Don’t trust a profligate bully with your money or time.
One problem with yesterday’s search strategy of the Aphor system is that it begins with the last Probaway posts and works from the present back into the past. We need many different search strategies such as:
A [SEARCH BOX] were we can put things to be included or excluded such as [beginning and ending dates], [language or languages], [authors], [occupations], [hobbies and skills], [Books, ISBN#], [nationalities], [affiliations], [email], [mailing address], [home address], business address], [general questions like Google is good for, or run the whole process through Google or Bing.]
Another way to search for ideas is to go to pinterest.com/ and poke their [Search] box, and type key words like yesterday’s post, type in doubt and later do hope.
After a search is displayed, cut and paste, or type, onto a word processer at least ten quotes you like. Then do another search that you are interested in that has different qualities, such as doubt, and list ten or more of those quotes.
Then do the Aphor game of smashing the different ideas together and rewriting their combined ideas in ten different ways. Watch for ideas that are new and state them as clearly, memorably and uniquely as possible.
Ten times may feel like too much repetition, but that task will often bring up ideas you like from your unconsciousness.
