Yesterday’s Probaway – Life Hacks post requested people to send their new and unused Covid masks to India, where they are desperately needed. Millions of Americans have been vaccinated; they are the ones who probably bought masks and are still wearing a few of them, but these are the very people who now have more masks than they need for personal use.

The CDC (Center for Disease Control) is loosening the restrictions and permitting vaccinated people to engage in outdoor semi-public activities, such as eating at outdoor restaurants. This means that if those people who have extra masks sent half of those Covid face masks to India, it could save many lives over there. A single case often develops into a contagion point and your mask could prevent that from happening.

In the evening news, I saw a line of about a hundred people standing in line in front of a hospital in India, and none of them had face masks. Outside, that may not have been risky, but that same line went inside the contaminated building where the Covid victims were still waiting in line to be seen by a doctor.

The box of extra Covid masks taken from your shelf and sent to those people would probably save some lives.

Take your unused masks and send them through existing mail to hospitals in India. Here is the Google search for Hospitals in India

We have collected over 100 masks so far & will be sending them to a hospital in India tomorrow.

You could have the satisfaction of sending your masks to specific places and actually see pictures of people wearing the masks you gave them.
