I have now explored, made some discoveries about hope, and rewritten this idea for finding hope many times; it has been rewritten more than the posted 25 times. Why so many rewrites? It is important to get this idea right as this is a critically important ability that everyone needs and can develop.

Everyone needs to create hopes of their own choosing, to generate reasons for their continued striving toward their goals and in some cases even continuing to keep on living. Without a healthy ability to generate hope to get attainable things, and to actually get them much of the time, excess failure will lead to despair and grasping for unrealistic fantasies, which brings in the person’s world view unrealistic relationships to reality followed by frequent failures and thus despair and early death.

There are many things that an individual may hope for that require little thought or energy to succeed in obtaining, and hopefully one’s daily life is filled with them, but there are also many reasonable things they might value but have no understanding of how to obtain them.

These grander aspirations are often grouped under the idea “What is the meaning of life?” There is a multitude of answers to that question which may be satisfying for a moment, but when people seek absolute answers that will work for eternity, there is often a serious break with what the Universe can provide. Unfortunately, there is no lack of people who step up to provide absolute answers to this problem.

This current probe into “What is the meaning of life?” has been motivated by the idea of restricting the quest to generating hopes that are attainable. The premise of all of these quests is that being kind on a given subject generates hope, and this process has a one-to-one relationship for generating future hope. Thus it is called unbounded hope. As long as a person is capable of doing kind acts, they will receive a bounty of hope.    ( strikeout this text   insert this italic text )

This version,  #24  #25, is revealed to me as …

We seek unbounded hope for our future by being infinitely doing another unique kind act, and by:

1. —exploring the orderly nature of our bountiful Universe, so we can help ourselves and others benefit from everything that it makes possible.

2. —striving to physically survive as individuals and as a species by seeking opportunities to live and participate in every friendly favorable place.

3. —creating open-ended attractor goals, so you and I and all living beings can have meaningful lives within our personal worlds.

4. —becoming known to everyone as dedicating our wisdom and energy to alleviating the suffering of all beings.

5. —helping everyone to find meaning in their lives by helping every individual them to find a personal path to kind acts and thus to unbounded hope.  and infinite kindness.

6. —making a habit of giving our attention to individuals and acknowledging their wisdom and kind acts within our shared Universe.

7. —appreciating that we as people expressing diverse views to one another are more likely to discover the bounty of our Universe and the beautiful new ways we may choose to live our lives.

This #25 rendition emphasizes the practical doing of unique kind acts so hopes may be realistically energized.
